Since beginning my professional journey I have been fortunate to have been presented with several opportunities to grow my skills and expand my knowledge. My recent love for marketing has lead me down the path of taking courses to expand my knowledge within the field. My Qualifications

DENTAL ASSISTANT, SMILE ORTHODONTICS

May 2019 - March 2021

I was incredibly fortunate to be hired by Smile Orthodontics. I had zero experience within the dental field but this company gave me a chance to train on the job. I learned so much in the two years I worked at this office, obtaining certificates such as my radiation safety license, which allowed me to take patient dental X-rays. The relationships I built with my colleagues and patients truly set me up for success in allowing me to build skills as a team player. Additionally, Smile Orthodontist was my first experience with marketing. As a local business, my colleagues and I would come up with ideas to promote the business through referrals, community events, and social media.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT, VCA WESTSIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

March 2018 - May 2019

My time at VCA Westside Animal Hospital further improved my skills within the veterinary field, but also deepened my personal skills, such as time management and the importance of team work. This hospital often had a full schedule, so managing appointments in a timely manner was crucial, it is something that could not have been achieved without the help of all the staff working together to keep patients and clients happy.

My career as a veterinary assistant began at At Tails Wagging Veterinary Clinic. I was fortunate to work at this office as it provided me with a solid basis for learning how to work my way up within a company. I began as a receptionist, building my customer service skills and my multitasking skills, as I was often asked to give hands on help to the treatment area staff. Within a few months I had gained enough hands on experience to obtain a permanent position assisting the veterinarian.

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE UNIVERSITY, ASSOCIATE DEGREE

January 2022 - Present

After my time at my local community college, I switched gears and chose to pursue a degree with a university. SNHU was exactly what I was looking for, and through their business core requirements I discovered how much I enjoyed marketing. So far I have taken courses in applied marketing strategies, integrated marketing, and social media marketing. I am on track to finish my associate degree by August of 2022, and have strongly considered continuing my education to pursue a bachelor's degree.
